Edmonton Christmas Open House

Come and join us for some Christmas cheer!

We will have some treats and activities for the kids, but mostly it will be a time to connect with other families from around the Edmonton area who have children who are deaf or hard of hearing! Please feel free to bring an appetizer or dessert to share.

We will also have the Purdy’s Chocolates orders available for pick up.

November Coffee Talk – Calgary

We hope you can join us for our next Coffee Talk on Sunday, November 19, 2017! Coffee Talks are informal gatherings, with lots of opportunity to ask questions, share information and meet other parents. Coffee, tea, and treats will be provided.

Edmonton Family Picnic – June 10

Alberta Hands & Voices invites you to our third annual Edmonton area Family Picnic

When: Saturday, June 10 • 1:00 – 4:00 pm
Where: Hermitage Park, Site #1 • 2115 Hermitage Rd NW, Edmonton

We will provide a picnic lunch, as well as games and activities for the kids and a chance to mix & mingle with other families with children who are deaf and/or hard of hearing! Please feel free to bring a snack or sweet to share. Bring a blanket or lawn chairs, if desired.

Painting Party with a Purpose!

Come join Alberta Hands and Voices and Connect Society Calgary in a joint fundraiser for two spectacular causes. Both groups have a unified vision of supporting Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing children and individuals, as well as their families. 

When: April 27, 2017, 6:30 pm
Cost: $40 (Includes everything to create your masterpiece; you just have to show up. Food and Drink are extra)
Where: Raw Canvas in Kensington (1130 Kensington Rd NW)

This is about making art accessible to people who do not consider themselves artists or creative in any way. Paint Party is about having fun, with a stress free, non-judgmental environment that inspires everyone to enjoy the process of creating something from nothing.

(All are welcome, Deaf, deaf, hard of hearing, hearing…EVERYONE!)
